## Safety precautions

Do **NOT** use BactoBox® near fire or other strong heat sources as the disinfection vials contain 70 % isopropanol.

If you observe unexpected noises, smoke, or smells turn off BactoBox® immediately and pull the power cable out of BactoBox®.

Do **NOT** use a damaged power supply.

Do **NOT** allow the power supply to get wet.

Do **NOT** spill large amounts of liquid on BactoBox®.

## Operational precautions

## Do **NOT** move BactoBox® while it runs

BactoBox® is a stationary device. Don't move the device while it operatores. This avoids hardware damage and errors in the measurements.

## Do NOT place liquids or drinks on your BactoBox® device

Spills damage the internal electronics.

## Do NOT use third-party chemicals to clean your BactoBox® setup

Third party chemicals may cause permanent damage to your device. Only use the SBT disinfection vials.

This may cause device malfunctions, data corruption, and system instability.
