Vials
All vials are 15 mL conical centrifuge tubes. BactoBox® connects directly to a vial via the tubing kit.

Empty vial
Empty vial that you fill up with your own samples for subsequent measurement.
The empty vial is both pure and sterile.
Filter the dilution liquid before you put it into the empty vial
The empty vial is both pure and sterile but the dilution liquid is not. Always pass the dilution liquid through a syringe filter first.
Item numbers
Not recommended. Third party vials may not be pure enough for use with BactoBox®. Even if they advertise them as sterile. BactoBox® is a sensitive measuring device and tiny plastic remnants from the vial production may influence the results.
Dilution vial
Contains 10 mL of filtered dilution liquid. No GHS pictograms.
Store at 15–25℃.
SBT's dilution vial is ready to use
We did everything for you already. SBT has a rigorous quality control procedure to ensure that the dilution vial pairs perfectly with BactoBox®.
The dilution vial is for single use only
Discard the dilution vial after use. Once it's been through BactoBox®, we can no longer guarantee the sterility and purity.

Use a dilution dispenser and a syringe filter to ensure purity and sterility.
Disinfection vial
The disinfection vial contains 12 ml of 5–10 % isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol) and 50–70 % ethanol.
Store at 15–25 ºC.
Used during clean. See Clean the setup.
Discard at the end of day or after 10 uses

H225 Highly flammable liquid and vapor.
H319 Causes serious eye irritation.

Deep clean vial
Used for the deep clean program.
Contains 1 % pepsin in hydrochloric acid (0.1 % HCL).
Store at 15–25 ºC.
Single use only
GHS
H334 May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled.

QC vial
Only exists in a Do It Yourself (DIY) variant for now where you use the QC stock supplied by SBT Instruments. See Make QC vial.
The QC vial is for single use only
Once the liquid passes through the BactoBox®, its properties may change. Trace residues of disinfection liquid from the previous cleaning cycle can lower both the conductivity and the concentration of silica microspheres.
Always discard the QC vial after use!
