This pages show you how to assemble a dilution dispenser.

Get things ready

You need these items:

  • 1 × diluent (A) Shipped in a separate cardboard box.

  • 1 × dilution dispenser package that includes:

    • Dispenser head (B)

    • Suction tube (C)

    • Recirculation tube (D)

    • Ejection unit (E) Includes Luer lock attachment

    • 5 L adapter ring (F) This is already mounted to the dispenser head (B) by SBT.

  • 1 × syringe filter (G) Bundled in a separate box (SF01) that contains 40 pieces.

Do not use a long, sharp knife to open the box with diluent

Step by step

Assemble ejection unit

Insert the ejection unit (E) into the ejection valve on the dispenser head (B).

Then, turn the union nut clockwise until it is firmly in place.

Assemble suction tube on dispenser valve

Slightly pull back the union nut from the suction tube (C) as shown n the image below.

Push the suction tube in until the plastic collar reaches the stop.

Turn the union nut clockwise to tighten onto the valve mantle.

Install recirculation tube

Insert the small recirculation tube (D) firmly into the designated hole on the dispenser head (B).

Ensure that the nozzle faces away from the suction tube (C).

Install syringe filter

Screw the syringe filter (G) onto the Luer lock adapter of the ejection unit (E).

That is it!

You are now ready to make a DIY dilution vial.
