# Dilution liquid: ready-made vials

100 vials with 10 mL of filtered, gamma-sterilized, conductivity-adjusted dilution liquid.

That comes to 100 dilution vials, so 100 dilutions. A sample that is diluted in two serial 1:100 steps, up to 1:10,000, uses two of them.

## The other way to get dilution vials

You can also buy the liquid in bulk and fill the vials yourself. That needs the dilution dispenser and a daily filter change, and it only pays off at high sample volume.
