# Getting started bundle with QC stock

Dilution liquid for 100 samples, plus the consumables to keep BactoBox® running

{% hint style="danger" %}
**GS01 was discontinued on 13 October 2026**

It is replaced by the [getting started bundle](/item-register/consumables/getting-started-bundle.md) `GS02`, which holds ready-to-use QC vials instead of QC stock.

## Bundle contents

<table><thead><tr><th width="106" data-type="number">Quantity</th><th width="110">Item no.</th><th>Item</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>2</td><td><code>DR01</code></td><td><a href="/item-register/consumables/dilution-liquid-ready-made-vials.md">Dilution liquid: ready-made vials (100× dilutions)</a></td></tr><tr><td>2</td><td><code>VI07</code></td><td><a href="/item-register/consumables/disinfection-vial.md">Disinfection vial (20×)</a></td></tr><tr><td>2</td><td><code>DC02</code></td><td><a href="/item-register/consumables/deep-clean-vial.md">Deep clean vial (5×)</a></td></tr><tr><td>1</td><td><code>QC06</code></td><td><a href="/item-register/consumables/qc-bundle.md">QC bundle (18× QC tests)</a></td></tr></tbody></table>

That comes to 200 ready-made dilution vials, 40 disinfection vials, 10 deep clean vials and one QC bundle. Each sample uses two of the dilution vials, for two serial 1:100 steps up to 1:10,000, so the bundle covers 100 samples.

{% hint style="info" %}
**The bundle holds no flow cell**

Every sample uses one of the 250 measurements in a flow cell, so order a [flow cell](/item-register/consumables/flow-cell.md) alongside the bundle.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.sbtinstruments.com/item-register/consumables/getting-started-bundle-with-qc-stock.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
