# Export your data

Download your measurements as CSV files, raw measurement files or a PDF report.

Your BactoBox® stores every measurement. Access lets you download them in four ways. Open the CSV files in Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet program.

## Download all your measurements

Click *Download summary* in the side bar. The page has two downloads:

* *summary.csv*, a table of all measurements on your BactoBox®. See [summary.csv](/software/file-formats/download-your-data.md).
* *measurements.zip*, the raw measurement files ([BDR files](/software/file-formats/bdr-file.md)) for the period you pick under *Date filter*. See [measurements.zip](/software/file-formats/measurements.zip.md).

## Export rows from the *Measurements* page

Click *Measurements* in the side bar. The page shows all program runs on your BactoBox® in one table, newest first. Filter the columns to find the rows you need. Then click *Export CSV* to download the rows you see.

## Export a measurement group

Open the measurement group and click *Export CSV*. The file holds the table of the group.

## Save a report as a PDF

Open the measurement group and click *Export report*. Your browser opens its print dialog. Pick *Save as PDF* as the destination, or print the report on paper. The report holds the plots and the values of the group.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.sbtinstruments.com/more/software/export-your-data.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
