All the below items are required for the tutorial. Most items are supplied by SBT in a bundle.

Note that the Vitroids™ discs must be procured from Sigma/Merck. The additional items are standard consumables in a microbiological lab.

Hardware

• BactoBox® setup including a flow cell with at least one remaining measurements.

  • HW: 7.6a

  • SW: ≥ v2026.02a

• Marker (not shown; not supplied)

• Vortex mixer (not supplied)

• Rack for holding 15 mL centrifuge vials (not supplied)

• Small vial, e.g. 1.5 mL Eppendorf tube (not supplied)

• P200 pipette (not supplied)

• Sterile pipette tips (not supplied).

Reagents

• Certified reference material (CRM): Escherichia coli WDCM 00013 Vitroids^™ (not supplied).

• 1 × dilution vial ready-to-use.

• 1 × disinfection vial.
