Performance tuning

BactoBox® automatically tunes itself whenever you run the QC test program.

What does tuning do?

Tuning is about performance. It ensures that BactoBox® arrives at a result fast and with less trouble along the way (fewer error messages).

Tuning matches the flow parameters to the individual setup. Whenever the setup changes, the appropriate flow parameters change accordingly. When you tune the setup, you find the sweet spot where you get fast results with very few error messages.

For example, each individual flow cell is ever-so-slightly different and therefore BactoBox® adjusts the flow parameters accordingly. Same goes for the external filter and, in general, all items that the liquid moves through (the flow path).

It is important to always tune and qualify on setup change. This ensures that the setup works as intended.
